On June 7, we attended the XII Computer Engineering Evening in Castile and Leon, an event that recognizes the IT efforts of professionals, institutions or companies.

The BISITE Research Group participates through IBSAL in the HERMS project (Hybrid Enhanced Regenerative Medicine Systems), financed by the European Union through its FET Proactive Program and coordinated by Gabriella Panuccio from the IIT.

Global Exchange, a Salamanca company, world leader in the currency exchange sector, and the BISITE research group of the University of Salamanca work together on the research and development of different technological projects, within the framework of the strategic plan financed by the ICE (Institute for the Competitiveness of Castile y León) with a budget of more than 2 million euros.

The My -TRAC project seeks to develop a reference platform for travellers and operators, improving user experience through advanced analysis and artificial intelligence.

Lithopia is a design fiction parody of a "smart village" created by our Marie Curie fellow,  Denisa Kera, a philosopher and designer researching public engagement in emerging technologies.

Surveys are a helpful means of creating different profiles, conducting studies or finding out about the opinion of a group of people about a product or a situation.

Yesterday morning, we proudly enjoyed a public presentation of the CHROMOSOME Project, which is led by our fellow researcher, Javier Prieto.

The consortium leading the ONEP-ON or ON Inclusive Entrepreneur Project, moves forward with its development. The Project is coordinated by Social Services Management of Castile and Leon. The partners of the project include the INTRAS Foundation, University of Salamanca, Chamber of Guarda, Polytechnic Institute of Guarda, Federation of Social Enterprises for Work Integration, Associations of Special Employment Centres, Asprodes FEAPS Salamanca, ASPAYM CYL, La Encina, CERCIG, Salamanca’s Diocesan ADM Estrela and Caritas.

The duty of our organizations and universities is to provide solutions to the problems that surround us.  Improving the quality of life of dependent people or making development and manufacturing sustainable, are just a few of the challenges we are firmly committed to resolving. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes and initiatives are implemented to make these changes possible.
