In the constant search to improve competitiveness in the primary sector, the AGROSTATION project is an innovative initiative that arises from the TCUE University-Business Knowledge Transfer Plan, thanks to the previous experience of the BISITE Research Group in agricultural projects.

The EU Horizon 2020 European Internet of Things Training Network, IoTalentum, held the "Network Meeting 7, Winter School" in Eindhoven (The Netherlands). The event was aimed at the project's doctoral students (ESRs) and included training seminars, conferences and workshops.

Within the Centr@Tec Programme of the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICE) in collaboration with the AIR Institute, a new conference was held for SMEs interested in learning about funding opportunities and the main Generative AI tools. 

The Mayor of Salamanca, Carlos García Carbayo, and the Professor of Artificial Intelligence at the University of Salamanca, Juan Manuel Corchado, who is also the President of the AIR Institute ( International Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science Foundation), today signed a collaboration agreement to continue developing the Salamanca Tech strategy.

The Centr@Tec Programme will hold a new informative conference on 26 January focusing on the Digital Kit and its solutions for the digital transformation of the self-employed and SMEs.

Iberdrola Retail, in collaboration with the BISITE Research Group from University of Salamanca, is embarking on an ambitious project known as the Edge Power Meter. This project seeks to develop and test a set of Edge Nodes, to redefine the way power consumption is monitored and managed at the hadware (Edge) layer level. 

The idrECO project emerges in the dynamic scenario of energy and sustainability, a proposal of the BISITE Research Group of the University of Salamanca, in collaboration with researchers from the University of Malaga and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.  With the aim of addressing the pressing challenges of climate change, this initiative seeks to redefine the energy landscape through smart and efficient Renewable Energy Communities (RECs).

The adoption of IoT solutions continues to revolutionise the manner in which we address challenges across a range of sectors, and livestock farming is no exception. Researchers from the BISITE Group of the University of Salamanca are working on LambIoT, an innovative project in this field, under the TCUE University-Business Knowledge Transfer Plan (PC_TCUE21-23_005).

At the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT), the Livestock IoT project, led by the BISITE research group of the University of Salamanca under the University-Business Knowledge Transfer Plan TCUE (PC_TCUE21-23_005), marks a milestone in the evolution of modern livestock farming.
