The Internet of Things (IoT) has created thousands of jobs related to the development and management of connected objects. These objects, already integrated in almost every sector, require engineers and technicians that will develop their software, their connectivity and their security.

We are very proud because we have presented the Life Vía de la Plata project, on which we collaborate with five other partners interested in implementing environmental solutions in Salamanca; a world heritage site

When starting on a business project, one of the first steps is to do a general study of the current situation of the market in which we want to operate. A market analysis sheds light on market trends, the impact that the product or service may have and, above all, it creates a profile of our target market.

The BISITE Research Group continues teleworking on the ROBIN Project. The main objective of this Project is research into technologies and algorithms that will enable the design of a Fintech platform. The project is already in the second year of the justification phase with the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (C.D.T.I.). 

The “Erasmus+ Knowledge Alliances 2019 projects Kick-off Meeting” has been held in Brussels in February. Its aim was to inform the institutions that coordinate Erasmus+ on aspects of administration, finances and dissemination, etc. 

The LAPASSION Project (Latin-America Practices and Soft Skills for an Innovation Oriented Network) is an important initiative that we have undertaken along with 14 international partners. Its aim is to encourage students to propose solutions to different social problems.

We live in a hyper-connected world in which we can obtain data from different devices, machines or tools. Science is concerned not only with the collection, but also with the analysis and extraction of valuable information that will help improve processes and devise other types of solutions.

Our colleague Denisa Kera's project Marie Curie Research Fellow Lithopy, a fairytale on blockchain governance with code was recognized as one of the top 50 projects mixing storytelling, performance, play, design & code

The call to participate in the LAPASSION Project 2020 is now open. The University of Salamanca will grant two scholarships to Higher Education students (USAL’s undergraduate or master's students) who are interested in going to Chile from March 30^th to June 5^th (10 weeks) to participate in the LAPASSION project.  

We were present at the I Workshop on Disruptive Information and Communication Technologies for Innovation and Digital Transformation, organized as part of the DISRUPTIVE project, which our research group, BISITE, is coordinating.
