The University of Salamanca, together with the Professional Placement, Internships, Employment and Entrepreneurship Service (SIPPE), is holding the XXI Edition of the Virtual Job Fair from November 7 to 16.

The cybersecurity awareness program CyberCamp-USAL, coordinated by the Spanish National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE) and the BISITE Research Group of the University of Salamanca, was part of the event with a stand located in the Faculty of Sciences on Friday, November 10. There, part of the project team presented to interested parties the different actions that are being carried out from this year until 2025, including workshops, webinars, talks, competitions and training conferences, among others.

Beyond the presence in this activity of the fair, CyberCamp-USAL collaborates during the rest of the days virtually helping technology centers such as AIR Institute with the management of their job offers and the improvement of the professional insertion of university graduates, so that they can know first hand the offers and demands existing in the current labor market, a priority objective of the event. It also has job offers from other entities such as HP, Viewnext, AXPE Consulting, Minsait, BEONx, NTT Data or Undanet Group, among others.

CyberCamp-USAL will continue with its program of activities on November 30 on the occasion of the International Day of Cybersecurity holding talks for parents in schools and institutes of Salamanca, which will address issues such as parental mediation, digital skills and, mainly, Internet safety of young people. Likewise, information will be provided on services available such as the free 017 cybersecurity helpline provided by INCIBE.
