Last week we welcomed Kazys Vogulys, CEO of Protects Group CERN & SINER in more than 8 countries, to the BISITE Research Group laboratories. Vogulys is also Chairman of the annual conference committee and board member of the International Council for Educational Media (ICEM), which will be held next year in Salamanca, under the coordination of the BISITE group.

Kazys visited us as Chairman of the ICEM committee, an institution that was founded in 1950, is active in more than 30 countries and is recognized by UNESCO. During the meeting, he learned about the facilities and resources available for the annual ICEM 2024 conference in Salamanca, in which our colleague José Ortega Mohedano will take part, as a member of the local organizing committee of the event.

Vogulys studied at the Aeronautics University Burnside-Ott Aviation Training Center. He specialized in jet engines of over 18000 Pounds. He was an Aviator and President of some companies in the transport sector. Currently, he is a member of the Board of Directors of El Nogal Club, one of the top clubs in America.

In addition, he learned about the activities being carried out by BISITE from different team members. In particular, he was interested in the activities of our colleagues Juan Manuel Núñez and Sebastián Flores, who are artificial intelligence researchers. He also spoke to Juan Manuel Corchado about the possibilities of future collaboration in different technological projects.
