The launch took place this Tuesday, February 3, at the R&D&I Building of the University of Salamanca (USAL), led by Juan Manuel Corchado, Rector of USAL; Víctor Sánchez, Chief Inspector of the National Police; and police officer José Ángel Fernández.
The MAYA-USAL project is coming to an end, and throughout its years of development, its role in Spanish language teaching through the use of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence stands out. Among its initiatives focused on this goal are the courses “Natural Language Processing and Generative Artificial Intelligence Applied to Spanish Language Teaching” and “Generative Artificial Intelligence for Application Development”.
The event, organised by INCIBE, the University of Salamanca and the BISITE Research Group, concluded its final session at the R&D&I Multipurpose Building with the participation of the Rector, Juan Manuel Corchado.
The programme will feature the Rector of the University of Salamanca, two high-level lectures, and the awards ceremony for the pitch competition.
The event, organised by INCIBE and the University of Salamanca, offers an online course alongside three days of lectures, workshops and competitions in Salamanca on 18, 19 and 29 September.
As September begins, the University of Salamanca is launching new online training programmes in Artificial Intelligence, designed to apply advanced technologies both in business contexts and in the study and management of vandalistic graffiti.
Technology continues to advance at breakneck speed, redefining the way we work and communicate. This demands professionals who are skilled in using a range of digital tools and harnessing artificial intelligence, enabling companies to adopt and benefit from these changes with strategic vision and expertise.
At BISITE we collaborate with two IoT expert companies to achieve smart buildings that improve aspects such as energy efficiency, occupant comfort and environmental conditions.
