The Instituto Tecnológico Agrario and the Junta de Castilla y León are organizing a conference on "New technologies in livestock farming". The event will be attended by ITACyL, the Hermi company and our group, BISITE.

At the event, the focus is going to be on the current state of implementation of new technologies in the production of ruminants, as well as some ideas on technological innovation in the field of rabbit production, but with potential application in other production systems.

New technologies have a great application potential: to manage available resources, to optimize usage and time or to improve animal welfare. All this with the ultimate aim of making life easier for farmers and workers in the sector.

The conference will be held online on July 15. Juan Manuel Corchado will speak about the development of new technologies applied to livestock farming. The event will serve to present different use cases that have been implemented in several of the projects of our research group.
