The University of Salamanca will host an Internet of Things (IoT) and Blockchain workshop on Thursday 15 February, starting at 3 p.m. It will take place in the R+D+I Building and is aimed at students and members of traditional SMEs who wish to incorporate these technologies into their production processes. This workshop is part of the Interreg PocTep IOTEC Project "Building Technological Capacities in Industrial Applications of the Internet of Things", financed by the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER) under the Interreg V-A Spain-Portugal 2014-2020 (PocTep) program.
CENIoT (Formation of a European Consortium for the Promotion of IoT Technology) is a project assigned to the BISITE group for the elaboration of a proposal within H2020, which will allow to continue the development of EU-wide projects.
On the behalf of the whole BISITE Research Group, we would like to wish our director, Juan Manuel Corchado Rodríguez, the best of luck on the new path that he will undertake tomorrow, 27th of October. The challenge that is now ahead of him, is that of becoming the next rector of a prestigious and centenary University.
