The DIGITEC project seeks to improve research and innovation (R&I), infrastructures and the capacity to develop excellence in R&I, and the promotion of centers of competence, especially those of European interest. The overall objective of the project is to generate a network of technical and technological actors between the regions of Castilla y León and Central Portugal.

DIGITEC members aim to promote the implementation of advanced digital technologies and blockchain in companies in the cross-border area, with a view to a tangible improvement of business processes and, consequently, of the competitiveness of Portuguese and Spanish companies.

As part of the DIGITEC project, a B2B solution emerged that allows companies to promote or search for technological services and products.

In this regard, DIGITEC Marketplace was developed, an online platform that aims to promote the meeting between companies that have products and services based on advanced digital technologies and companies seeking solutions in the aforementioned areas.

Marketplace features 

Users can choose to promote IT or industrial technology services/products, make detailed announcements and special promotions according to the characteristics of the product. Likewise, prospective customers can enter the platform and study the various options available for each service. It is understood that DIGITEC Marketplace only functions as an intermediary between parties.

In order to publicize this initiative, several events have been organized, such as the DIGITEC Conference: "Business opportunities through advanced digital technologies", which was held online and in which both project partners and companies from the agri-food sector participated.
