Artificial intelligence has a great impact on companies, since thanks to it, business and production processes can be optimized at a level never seen before. In fact, they offer a series of advantages such as analyzing data in real time, personalizing commercial messages according to the characteristics of each potential customer, increasing staff productivity, reducing error margins and improving decision-making.

It is estimated that by 2025, artificial intelligence could handle up to 95% of all interactions with customers through technologies that respond in real time through chatbots, emails, calls and other channels, achieving a flawless experience where the customer cannot distinguish between a human or a machine. In fact, if artificial intelligence is implemented correctly in companies, it will generate a 38% increase in profitability by 2035.

Uses of artificial intelligence that you might not know about

There are numerous uses of artificial intelligence that you may not know about and that serve to make our lives much easier. Below is a list of its main uses:

- Autonomous driving: autonomous vehicles are based on the complex branch of artificial intelligence that consists of real-time learning about the areas through which to drive and the objects or signs on the road. Some cars already use AI-driven safety functions, which serve to avoid possible dangerous situations and accidents.

  • Video games: patterns have been taken from real players so that when we play, we see more realistic roads and vehicles.
  • Internet shopping and advertising: well-known platforms such as Amazon, Microsoft, Google and other technological leaders use AI to analyze our preferences in depth and thus anticipate and recommend items that may be of interest to us. This procedure works through our searches or previous purchases and every time we go online we see personalized advertising.
  • Personal digital assistants: they are integrated in mobile phones and their use is becoming increasingly widespread. They have a large number of functions such as answering questions, giving recommendations and outlining a routine plan for their owners.
  • Automatic translators: they translate into other languages and are increasingly making better use of semantics and human expressions.
  • Real-time facial recognition: the use of facial recognition to unlock our phones is becoming increasingly widespread.
  • Cybersecurity: AI helps us recognize and fight against cyberattacks, relying on the data they receive continuously and recognizing patterns.
  • Detect malware: through artificial intelligence, emails can be filtered to find out which ones carry SPAM or some type of malware.
  • Automation in factories: more factories are introducing artificial intelligence in the automation of processes, mainly because of the great benefits they obtain, such as the reduction of time to perform tasks and the hiring of fewer employees to perform the work.
  • Thermographic cameras: used on airports and other places to detect the temperature of people and thus prevent the spread of Covid-19 disease
