Our work on the UPPER project continues. Its principal objective is to develop a technology for monitoring and preventing risks in the workers' environment.                                                                                                    

Disruptive technologies play a key role in this project, it reunites the advantages of both Artificial Intelligence and Smart Data, to efficiently obtain information that will allow the technology to adapt to the changing needs of workers.

With a total funding of € 68,000 provided by the Ministry of Employment of the Junta de Castile and Leon, we continue our research into the building of smart protective equipment that will increase safety in the workplace.

Some of our recent PhD graduates participate in the development of this project which is beneficial for their career path. We hope to transfer the results soon to companies in Castile and Leon interested in the use and marketing of the developed technology.
