Álvaro Bartolomé is a Computer Science student who has been a part of our group for some time now. His effort and involvement in our University’s Business Knowledge Transfer Programme (KTP) are exemplary.

Last week, the University’s Board, buzzed about the application that our colleague is developing; an application for financial analysis, in which Twitter is considered a social factor. As Álvaro said "the application determines the degree to which Twitter sentiment analysis truly impacts investment, but the point is that it is not an exclusive factor".

In this KTP Programme he also realized that within the field of FINTECH there are many and very broad lines of research, Álvaro uses his time to extract this type of data and analyse them.
