As a fundamental principle, a health system should provide the tools for people to manage their health information and forze a closer partnership between professionals, patients, health care providers and public and private funders. Thus, the health system must move in a new direction in order to provide adequate means to enable people to improve their quality of life and, in a way, responsibility for the control of your health.

SmartMedical is an ambitious project that has as main objective the analysis, design and development of an innovative platform based on Cloud Computing and revolutionary model constructed based on multi-agent architecture designed specifically for managing patient medical records from private insurers.

This new platform will provide ubiquitous and integrated access to medical records of the insured from any electronic terminal, either a computer, a tablet or a smartphone, regardless of the language of the user and location of the patient. That is, the medical staff can access from anywhere in the world to patient records across multiple devices and information will be translated into the language of preference on the part of medical personnel, all subject to the privacy and security scales this data type requires.
