BISITE has developed a public lighting management system that aims to cut the costs of street lighiting in order to save money for both public administrations and private entities.
Using image recognition and different IA techniques, the system extracts patterns from the observation of pedestrian and vehicle flux at different times and days of the week. By combining the generated predictions with more reactive behaviors, like the direct observation of pedestrian presence and weather conditions, it allows to keep the street lighting at a safe minimum while providing more luminosity at peek hours.
This smart management is combined with real-time monitoring of the condition and electrical consumption of the lamp posts and attached devices, and a regular control panel that can be used to override the behavior of the IA modules.
