+Cloud

  • Information

The Cloud Computing model has emerged with the aim of giving support to the explosive growth of the number of devices connected to Internet and complementing the increasing presence of technology in people’s daily lives. Nevertheless, there are situations where technology is difficult to handle or people have a lack of knowledge to use it. Ambient Intelligence (AmI) tries to adapt the technology to the people’s needs by means of omnipresent computing elements which communicate among them in a ubiquitous way. In this regard, Multi-Agent Systems (MASs) and Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are two key technologies for developing distributed systems based on AmI scenarios. This Cloud Computing platform is intended for integrating and deploying services over WSNs in a fast and easy way. +Cloud is aimed at offering locating, telemonitoring and voice/data transmission services using a unique wireless infrastructure and implements reasoning mechanisms based on agent technology to perform different tasks.
