Sara Rodríguez González is Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Automatics at the University of Salamanca. She obtained her PhD in Computer Science at the same University in 2010. She received the degree of Technical Engineering in Computer Systems in 2004 and the degree of Computer Engineering in 2007. She has carried out other postgraduate studies such as the Master's Degree in the Development of Electronic Commerce Systems and the Master's Degree in Digital Animation. The research activity can be considered the strong point of her curriculum, as evidenced by more than 30 articles published in prestigious international journals and included in the Journal Citation Reports, and participation as a member of scientific committee and speaker at international conferences such as PAAMS, IWANN, PACBB, ISAMI, HAIS or DCAI. Her line of research is focused on the integration and use of multi-agent systems within the field of artificial intelligence, a line that she formalized in her doctoral thesis in which she developed an adaptive model for virtual organizations of agents. The doctoral thesis obtained a European mention and an extraordinary doctoral award in 2011, also following a continuing line in the research group (BISITE, Bioinformatics, Intelligent Computing Systems and Educational Technology). As a teacher, she has taught both theoretical and practical hours, mainly in Technical Engineering in Computer Systems, Computer Engineering (2nd cycle) and Degree in Computer Engineering, but also in other degrees, masters and postgraduate degrees such as the Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Degree in Statistics, Official Master in Intelligent Systems, the Official Master in Social Studies of Science and Technology, the Official University Master in Intervention for People with Alzheimer's Disease or the Master in Physics and Medical Technologies. She is currently a member of the Spanish Association for Artificial Intelligence (AEPIA), the Research Institute of Art and Animation Technologies of the University of Salamanca (ATA), the IoT Digital Innovation Hub of the USAL, and the research group BISITE in which she continues her research work.
