The Centr@Tec Programme will hold a new informative conference on 26 January focusing on the Digital Kit and its solutions for the digital transformation of the self-employed and SMEs.

Juan Manuel Corchado, Professor at the University of Salamanca and Director of the BISITE Research Group, an expert in Artificial Intelligence, will open the event, which will start at 10:00 a.m. at the AIR Institute headquarters on Avenida Santiago Madrigal, 39.

The activity is free of charge, therefore those who are interested in participating simply need to register. The event is organised as part of the Centr@Tec Programme of the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICE) in collaboration with the AIR Institute.

The Digital Kit is a public financial aid programme financed by the Next Generation EU funds aimed at the self-employed and SMEs which is intended to help them adopt technological solutions as part of their digitisation. Those who wish to learn more about the details of the initiative, will be able to do so through Cristina Timón Gil, from the Chamber of Commerce of Salamanca, where there is an Acelera Pyme Office, which aims to promote digital transformation through the adoption of a culture, the usage and permanent exploitation of ICT in business strategies, through support and the supply of key tools that maximise productivity and competitiveness, at both national and international levels.

In addition, José Francisco Diego Calvo, territorial delegate of ICE in Salamanca, will describe the funding streams provided by the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICE), and Raúl García Serrada, one of the experts of the AIR Institute, will give a talk on "Generative AI (ChatGPT) and its potential for the company" in which he will talk about Generative AI from a business perspective, providing the initial theoretical basis for implementing these technologies in companies, which can help them to digitalise. The conference will end with a networking session where attendees will be able to chat with the invited experts.
