The Third International Symposium on Signal Processing and Intelligent Recognition Systems (SIRS'17) will create an international forum for researchers to share and discuss the results of their studies, concerning both methodological issues and different application areas of signal processing and pattern recognition. This symposium will consist of tutorials, regular technical sessions, workshops, special sessions, demos and plenary speakers.

SIRS’17 is co-affiliated with the Second International Conference on Applied Soft computing and Communication Networks (ACN'17), September 13-16, 2017, Manipal, India. All accepted papers will be published in a special volume of Springer as part of the series Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing Series .

This event will be held in Manipal. It’s a beatiful town and one of the most peaceful and soothing travel destinations of India. The main themes of the event are Signal processing and Intelligent Recognition Tehcniques and applications.

On this occasion, the director of our research group Juan Manuel Corchado has been named president of the program committee. We feel proud that he has been given such an honorable position at an event of great international importance. Congratulations!
