DREAM-GO brings together pioneering research teams in key areas such electrical smart grids and artificial intelligence, and innovative companies with a wide market experience. It is a collaboration between the University of Salamanca (Spain), the Polytechnic Institute of Porto (Portugal), the University of Duisburg-Essen (Germany) as well as ISA Energy Efficiency (Portugal), Nebusens S.L. (Spain) and Discovergy (Germany).
The BISITE Research Group was once again awarded the New Entrepreneurs Special Award and 12,000 euros in the third edition of the "University-Business Challenge" for the SC2 - CO2 Sequestration on Smart City Platform project. The award, which is organized by the Ministry of Education of the Council of Castile and León through the University Foundation and Higher Teachings of Castile and Leon, is also sponsored by Banco Santander.
From TERENCE to present
Pierpaolo Vittorini, coordinator of the European project TERENCE (funded by the Seventh Framework Programme with the participation of BISITE), continues to work with us in the development of medical technology.
The SPECTRA project, a National R&D consortium formed by 8 companies and supported by another 10 research organizations including the BISITE research group of the University of Salamanca, is part of the "Cien 2015" funded by the Centre for Technology and Industry development (CDTI).
The BISITE group continues to be a benchmark for collaboration between universities. This time the Pontifical University of São Paulo and the University of Salamanca are working together to achieve a substantial improvement in the learning process.
