The Cyberchain Chair, promoted by the University of Salamanca in collaboration with the National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE), stole the spotlight with two of its innovative projects at the Innova Corner this Wednesday, October 23, at the Palacio de Exposiciones in León, as part of the International Information Security Conference, #18ENISE.
Under the banner "SecurSentry and VIG-IA: Advances in Cyberattack Prevention," the chair outlined the projects' key areas of work, focusing on the implementation of artificial intelligence to enhance security measures for detecting threats in data sources such as cloud platforms, mobile applications, and social networks.
Throughout the event, the Cyberchain Chair was present at Stand 17 of the University of Salamanca (USAL), where it engaged with the attendees, sharing insights about the various educational and research initiatives it promotes, as well as the job opportunities it offers to technicians and specialists in blockchain and cybersecurity.
The Cyberchain Chair also extended an invitation to participate in the upcoming activities scheduled for October 29 and 30 at the R&D&I Multipurpose Building in Salamanca: the workshop "Application Design for IoT and IIoT" and the seminar "Blockchain, Security, and IoT: Challenges and Solutions." Both events are free to attend with prior registration, targeting students, entrepreneurs, and business owners.
