The University of Salamanca (USAL) launched on 3 June the call for applications for the position of technical support staff for the project CIRCULAR CHALLENGE - Business training and entrepreneurship for the transition to the circular economy, funded by the INTERREG-POCTEP programme.

The contract has a duration of one year, from 1 September 2024 to 31 August 2025, where the support technician will be responsible for performing tasks related to the management of the programme, the organisation and dynamisation of events such as workshops, seminars and dissemination events. In addition, he/she will be responsible for mobilising resources, generating leads, coordinating work teams and writing reports for companies.

USAL is looking for graduates in the field of computing, computer engineering, databases, logistics, green economy or related areas. In the selection process, the candidate's academic record will be assessed, taking into account their professional profile, experience in the area of project management and research, as well as in circular economy and sustainability.

CIRCULAR CHALLENGE

The CIRCULAR CHALLENGE project - Business training and entrepreneurship for the transition to the circular economy focuses on promoting business training in order to make industrial transformation and business models viable, promoting entrepreneurship, as well as the use of endogenous resources.

Thus, the project aims to strengthen support and advice to SMEs located within the border area, responding to the needs for economic reactivation and employment recovery.
