The MAYA-USAL project, in collaboration with the International Spanish Language Centre (CIE-USAL), is calling for the second edition of the courses on "Natural Language Processing and Generative Artificial Intelligence applied to the teaching of Spanish" and "Generative Artificial Intelligence for the creation of applications".
Through audiovisual pills, these two courses promote the functionalities of artificial intelligence (AI). The first proposal focuses on the educational scenario, specifically on the teaching of Spanish, through which large language models such as LLaMA are addressed.
The second training offer is aimed at application developers, especially beginners who still have limited technical skills and are looking to get started in the area of development assisted by AI models.
From now on, those interested in learning more about the use of AI in the educational context and application development can enrol for free in these online courses, taught by experts from the BISITE Research Group of the University of Salamanca.
Both courses are available on the e4YOU platform in the form of MOOCs, open for completion until 31 December 2024 and, after passing the final test on the content received, the student can obtain a certificate endorsed by the BISITE group.
MAYA-USAL training courses
The MAYA-USAL project, financed by the European Union with Next Generation EU funds, focuses on promoting an innovative environment for the exchange of language services through virtual tools and the use of artificial intelligence techniques and language models. In this way, it promotes the incorporation of new technologies in profiles related to the teaching of Spanish.
