The International Chair in Blockchain for Cybersecurity, CyberChain, coordinated by the University of Salamanca, the Spanish National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE), and BISITE, has launched its second course "Blockchain, Self-Sovereign Identities, and Legal Aspects." This free online course is available on the e4you platform via this link.
Building on the success of the first edition, which drew nearly 400 participants, the programme’s organisers have decided to offer another opportunity to participate for those who missed out. The course aims to provide a comprehensive learning experience, enabling students to connect theory, practice, and a critical analysis of blockchain technology.
The course content is organised into ten sections, spanning from an introduction to blockchain and its significance in the digital world to the future of this technology, and includes topics such as legal considerations, smart contracts, digital wallets, and cybersecurity. Thanks to the audiovisual format, students can progress at their own pace, resume where they left off, and access additional materials in the form of presentations. Participants can also request a certificate of attendance.
This initiative is funded through the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan, supported by the European Union's Next Generation funds. It is part of the Spanish Government's project to modernise the Spanish economy, foster economic recovery and job creation, and build a robust, inclusive, and resilient post-COVID-19 economy, addressing the challenges of the coming decade.
