Our colleagues, Guillermo Lobato Carreño and Álvaro Bartolomé del Canto, are behind two of the 26 projects that make up the TCUE Plan 2018-2020, a programme financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Regional Government of Castile y León.
Guillermo has based his research on a home automation system designed to ensure security, increase comfort levels and reduce energy consumption, through the implementation of sensors in the different parts of a house.
Meanwhile, Álvaro has developed a platform that uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms, Twitter's Natural Language Processing (NLP) and financial analysis techniques, in order to provide recommendations for stock investment in the shares of companies on the Spanish market. The idea is to verify the effectiveness of combining traditional techniques with innovative AI methods.
Guillermo and Álvaro’s projects give solutions to real problems and can contribute to the development of other innovative ideas.
