The BISITE Research Group of the University of Salamanca offers a postdoctoral research contract within the framework of the project "Virtual-Ledgers": DLT/Blockchain and Crypto-IOT technologies based on virtual organizations of lightweight agents for their application in the efficiency of last mile transport" financed by the Junta of Castile and León and co-financed by FEDER Funds. The application deadline is 11^th January 2019, code SA267P18.

The contracted person is going to research and develop last-generation technologies and environments, such as DLT/Blockchain, Big Data, IoT or Edge Computing, and is going to look into problems arising from the creation of Smart Cities.

REQUIREMENTS: 
Title: Doctor in Computer Engineering or similar (Doctor in Mathematics, Doctor in Telecommunication Engineering, etc.). The candidate researcher may not have presented their doctoral thesis nor have carried out their pre-doctoral research work at the University of Salamanca, unless they have done one or more post-doctoral research stays at a university or a research centre abroad, amounting in total to a documented period of at least 24 months.

CONDITIONS:
Working week: 37.5 hours

Salary: 2,530 € gross/month

Planned contract start date: 01/03/2019

Expected end date of contract: 30/11/2020
