The BISITE Research Group of the University of Salamanca is going to develop a groundbreaking project with the ADIA Lab, a research centre based in the United Arab Emirates which is a leader in computational and data science. Juan Manuel Corchado, Director of BISITE and Professor of Computer Science at the University of Salamanca, presented the initiative during a large ADIA Lab symposium held in Abu Dhabi.
The workshops will be held on 14 and 27 November in an online format and will cover topics such as P2P networks and communication, cryptography, distributed ledger technologies (DLT) and decentralised markets.
A stand was set up at the Faculty of Science on Friday, November 10 to inform about the different actions being carried out and to help graduates access the labor market.
This week, Salamanca is hosting an international meeting at which leading national and European experts in the environment sector will discuss how cities and, in particular, those listed as World Heritage Sites, can develop strategies to meet the challenges of climate change.
It will have a stand on Friday 10 November at the Faculty of Sciences of USAL to provide information about the different actions planned in the field of cybersecurity for the coming months.
