BISITE and Osake Institute of Technology

The partnership between Osaka Institute of Technology (OIT) and the University of Salamanca (USAL) is starting to produce results. The collaboration between the Osaka Institute of Technology and the University of Salamanca begans in May 2013, allowing the BISITE group to establish a close collaboration with the Japanese technology institute. During this period many researchers from both institutions have exchanged knowledge, technology, results and experiences. Research stage of Professor Wataru

This summer we have had the pleasure of having Professor Wataru among us. He belongs to the Technological Institute in Osaka, Japan. This research stay has taken place within the context of the existing collaboration agreement between this japanese institution and the University of Salamanca.

During June, July and August, he has been closely working with several members of BISITE research group on the interchange of knowledge within his research lines...

On 3 and 4 June, the University of Salamanca is hosting a new edition of PAAMS (, an international congress about Artificial Intelligence, where more than 200 researchers from all around the world are participating. The Bioinformatics, Intelligent Systems and Educational Technology (BISITE) research group ( is in charge of the organization of this event.

The 30th ACM/SIGAPP Symposium on Applied Computing is organized by the University of Salamanca and will take place from 13 to 17 April at Colegio Arzobispo Fonseca. This symposium is promoted by the ACM association, which is the first scientific and educational society oriented to computing, created in 1947 in the United States, and currently a referent in such environments counting with more than 34 groups of interest and established in more than 100 countries.
