Researchers from the BISITE Research Group are currently working on a contribution to the Network Meeting 4 of the IoTalentum project. The event will take place from 3 to 8 October at the Aalborg University Copenhagen Campus in Copenhagen.

Mahmoud Abbasi and Sebastian Lopez will present their research progress as PhD students. Mahmoud's research interests are in the area of communication systems and networks, machine learning, deep learning, machine learning for networks and network traffic analysis and monitoring (NTMA).

Meanwhile, Sebastián has based his research on the development of models that quantify uncertainty and generate a reliable and secure response in smart grids helping maintain system stability in what relates to future power generation, the smooth operation of the infrastructure, and customer demand. Moreover, the integration of blockchain guarantees privacy by offering decentralised systems, following a practical implementation in the DREAM-GO model.

Moreover, Juan Manuel Corchado, director of the BISITE Group will give a talk on cybersecurity, and our colleague Sergio Márquez will also attend to share a presentation on IoT applications.

We are certain this will be a very enriching event for the researchers participating in IoTalentum.
