The adoption of IoT solutions continues to revolutionise the manner in which we address challenges across a range of sectors, and livestock farming is no exception. Researchers from the BISITE Group of the University of Salamanca are working on LambIoT, an innovative project in this field, under the TCUE University-Business Knowledge Transfer Plan (PC_TCUE21-23_005).

In the era of massive genomic sequencing, the amount of genetic data available has increased rapidly, opening the door to a new era of possibilities in personalised medicine. In this context, the GEN-IA project has emerged, developed by the BISITE Research Group of the University of Salamanca and led by Fernando de la Prieta Pintado, under the University-Business Knowledge Transfer Plan TCUE (PC_TCUE21-23_009), with the aim of designing and validating a pipeline or set of steps of genomic analysis optimised by Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques.
In an effort to strengthen the foundations of cybersecurity from an early age, the CyberCampUSAL programme, in collaboration with the Spanish National Institute of Cybersecurity (INCIBE) and the BISITE Research Group of the University of Salamanca, has held a cybersecurity awareness talk for high school students at the San José Pizarrales Salesian School.
