The Bioinformatics, Intelligent Computing Systems and Educational Technology Research Group (BISITE) of the University of Salamanca brings together more than 150 researchers of more than 20 nationalities, primarily engaged in the development and application of intelligent computing systems to different types of problems, such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Fintech, Blockchain, IoT, Industry 4.0, Smart Cities, Smart Grids, Smart Textiles, Cybersecurity, and others

Our team is multidisciplinary and is made up of computer scientists, biologists, pharmacists, physicists and economists. The group collaborates intensively on more than 100 research projects with companies, universities and research centres. In recent years we have driven the development of the IoT Digital Innovation Hub and the AIR Institute, a technology centre that gives us greater capacity to transfer our research.

We participate in the organisation and coordination of several international conferences. We also promote training in new technologies, with successful master’s and courses in the fields in which we do research.

We have grown a lot in the last few years, and for this reason we would like to share with you a short description of who we are.

We would like to share with you our latest corporate video in which you can see part of our team in the laboratories and some of the activities, projects and congresses in which we participate.

We hope you like it as much as we do.

We are Innovation, We are Research, We are Training, We are BISITE!
